My method relies on directly teaching the fundamental structure of language. After evaluation of strengths and weaknesses, instruction begins with simple sound/symbol relationships progressing to more
complex concepts. Each lesson is presented to children using their visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning pathways (multi-sensory). When children utilize each of these pathways they develop an understanding of the language system that becomes automatic. Each lesson incorporates a balanced amount of reading, writing and comprehension. Lessons are sequenced to your child's needs so no time is wasted on concepts that your child already understands. Strategies and skills learned will be used for a lifetime.
